Call for IGF 2022 Village Booths
Stakeholders are invited to apply for an exhibition booth at the IGF 2022 Village, within the deadline of 31 July. Both onsite and virtual booths will be available. More details below.
The deadline for all IGF 2022 session proposals has now been extended by one week, to FRIDAY 10 JUNE, 23:59 UTC. All proposers and interested proposers are kindly advised to adhere to the new deadline.
The 17th annual IGF meeting will be hosted by the Government of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa from 28 November to 2 December 2022 on Resilient Internet for a Shared Sustainable and Common Future. The IGF 2022 Call for Session Proposals, focused on the programme's five themes, was open until 10 June. All session proposals received have been published. Preparations for IGF 2022 are ongoing. The First Open Consultations and MAG Meeting was held online from 23 to 25 February. It discussed the calls for feedback & improvements, as well as the call for thematic inputs. The Second IGF 2022 Open Consultations and MAG Meeting was hosted at the United Nations Office at Geneva from 6 to 8 July 2022.

The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) serves to bring people together from various stakeholder groups as equals, in discussions on public policy issues relating to the Internet. While there is no negotiated outcome, the IGF informs and inspires those with policy-making power in both the public and private sectors. At their annual meeting delegates discuss, exchange information and share good practices with each other. The IGF facilitates a common understanding of how to maximize Internet opportunities and address risks and challenges that arise.
